An FBI spokesman said the FBI arrested an individual in a suburban neighborhood in a county adjoining Jefferson County in connection with an Australian bomb hoax earlier this month. The individual is being held at FBI headquarters. The individual was taken into custody Monday. Australian police said the individual broke into a home in an upscale suburb of Sydney and chained a fake bomb to the neck of 18-year-old Madeleine Pulver. It was 10 hours before a bomb squad could remove the device, which was described as sophisticated-looking, but harmless. Police said the suspect left a note with demands, but they haven't been revealed. Officials said there's no evidence the attack is linked with any other crime.
